The MIND Foundation has concluded the final phase of its Career Advancement Program for Cohort 2, equipping Nigeria’s top Muslim First-Class graduates with skills to thrive in today’s workforce.
The three-day program, MINDCAP 2025/2026, ended on July 26 at the Environmental and Social Centre, University of Lagos. It was designed specifically for high-achieving Muslim graduates and focused on closing gaps in education, entrepreneurship, and soft skills.
Participants went through three core modules built around Personal Development, Leadership, and Enterprise. Each module featured practical masterclasses aimed at preparing them for competitive corporate and business environments.
Seasoned facilitators led the sessions. They included Dr. Jubril Salaudeen, Malam Saberedowo Hassan Kehinde, Mr. Hameed Danmole, Dr. Abubakar Yekeen, Mrs Mento Mo, Mr. Sulaiman Olokodana, Engr. Bakare Fatai, and Mrs Olayiwoyin.
Topics covered included project management, effective public speaking, modern work tools, critical thinking, politics and power, Sharia intelligence, entrepreneurship fundamentals, business plan development, remote work, and money management.
Members of the MIND Foundation Board of Trustees and executive leadership attended to mentor participants and observe the program, underscoring the foundation’s commitment to grooming the next generation of ethical leaders.
Speaking at the event, Alh. YKO Abdulkareem, BOT member and foundation representative, said empowering top academic talent with enterprise tools is key to driving sustainable economic growth and reducing socio-economic divides.
The foundation noted that MINDCAP is an annual program. It will continue to support young graduates in meeting career goals and building effective partnerships with the Muslim community and other relevant stakeholders.
