Blackburn Rovers have strengthened their squad with the loan signing of Nigerian, Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest.

Dennis, 27, has been out of action for Nottingham Forest this season, having been left out of their 25-man Premier League squad. The Nigerian forward joined Forest from Watford in the summer of 2022 for £20 million, making all 25 of his appearances for the club in his debut season. He spent last season on loan, with spells at Basaksehir in Turkey before returning to Watford.

Woodrow, 30, brings Championship experience, having made 77 appearances for Luton. However, he has started just one league game this season following the club’s relegation from the Premier League. The former Fulham striker has also played for Barnsley, Bristol City, Southend, and Burton during his career, scoring 12 goals in 66 games for Fulham.
Both Dennis and Woodrow will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Blackburn as the club looks to strengthen its attack.
