Wolverhampton Wanderers have bolstered their squad with the deadline day signings of Red Star Belgrade defender Nasser Djiga and Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi.
Both players join on permanent deals, adding to Wolves’ January acquisitions alongside defender Emmanuel Agbadou, who also arrived from Reims.

Djiga, a 22-year-old Burkina Faso international, has featured 27 times for Red Star Belgrade this season, playing all eight of their Champions League group-stage matches.
Munetsi, 28, brings experience to Wolves’ midfield, having made 159 appearances for Reims, scoring 21 goals, and earning 29 caps for Zimbabwe.
Djiga has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract, while Munetsi has agreed to a three-and-a-half-year deal running until 2029, with both players having the option for an additional 12 months.

Club chairman Jeff Shi emphasized the importance of strengthening the squad, stating, “It was important to support [manager] Vitor [Pereira] this window. Nasser has great potential, and we look forward to seeing him develop under our coaching staff.”
Shi also revealed that Wolves staff traveled to France to finalize Munetsi’s signing, adding, “We’re pleased to bring in an experienced player at a crucial stage of the season.”

Wolves currently sit 17th in the Premier League, just two points above the relegation zone, as they look to boost their survival hopes with these reinforcements.
