In a significant cabinet reshuffle, the Plateau State Government has approved the disengagement of several members of the State Executive Council.
The affected officials include Commissioners of key ministries, whose replacements have been named immediately.
The disengaged Commissioners are Sule Musa of Commerce and Industry, Obed Goselle of Science and Technology, Noel Nkup of Youth and Sports Development, Chrysantus Dawam of Budget and Economic Planning, and Jamila Tukur of Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has approved the appointment of five new Commissioners to fill the vacant positions.
The newly appointed officials are Sunday Alex from Bassa Local Government Area, Joyce Ramnap from Langtang South, Sylvanus Dongtoe from Shendam, Nicholas Baamlong from Qua’an Pan, and Cornelius Doeyok, also from Qua’an Pan Local Government Area.
The Governor expressed gratitude to the outgoing Commissioners for their service and contributions to the state, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
The new appointees are expected to bring fresh perspectives and drive the administration’s agenda forward as Plateau State continues its development efforts.
