Plateau LG poll counting is on and so far the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won 10 of the councils declared by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC).
The councils declared were: Bassa, Jos South, Riyom, Kanam, Barkin Ladi, Mikang, Jos East, Langtang South, Quaan Pan, and Shendam.
The declaration was made by the Chairman of the Commission, Plangji Cishak, in Jos, the state capital, on Thursday.
Cishak said the results from the remaining seven local governments were still being collated (Bokkos, Jos North, Pankshin, Kanke, Mangu, Langtang North, and Wase).
