Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov recently held expanded discussions with Carlos Pinto Pereira, Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Communities. The talks centered on bolstering cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral levels, as reported by Caliber.Az via a post from Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry on X (formerly Twitter).

The ministers underscored the need to enhance mutual connections, build a robust legal framework for collaboration, and encourage greater exchange of expertise between their nations.

During the meeting, Minister Bayramov also briefed his Guinea-Bissauan counterpart on the post-conflict developments in Azerbaijan, sharing updates on the region’s current situation.

In addition to the foreign ministers’ talks, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan hosted a delegation led by Carlos Pinto Pereira. The delegation included Guinea-Bissau’s Minister of Environment, Viriato Cassamá, further emphasizing the broad scope of the cooperation agenda between the two countries.

These meetings signal a commitment to deepening ties and fostering stronger partnerships between Azerbaijan and Guinea-Bissau.
