President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomed Angolan President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço to the Union Buildings in Pretoria for a State Visit, signaling a renewed commitment to strengthening bilateral ties between South Africa and Angola.

The high-level discussions between the two leaders aim to enhance cooperation in key areas, including trade, regional security, and sustainable development. The ceremonial welcome, complete with national flags, a guard of honour, and a 21-gun salute, underscored the importance of the occasion.
