Egypt has successfully recovered a collection of smuggled artefacts from Ireland, marking another milestone in the nation’s ongoing efforts to reclaim its cultural heritage. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates announced the achievement on Friday, attributing it to the positive outcome of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s recent visit to Ireland.

Among the artifacts restored are a mummy and several ancient pots, underscoring Egypt’s unwavering commitment to preserving its historical and cultural legacy. This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, which actively work with Egyptian diplomatic and consular missions worldwide to recover stolen treasures.
