Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has extended heartfelt sympathy to residents and shop owners affected by the fire outbreak opposite NSTA Garage, Tunga, Minna, which resulted in the destruction of property worth millions of Naira.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago described the incident as a tragic and challenging moment, expressing deep concern for the victims and sharing in their pain.

He urged those affected to take solace in God and strengthen their faith, assuring them that blessings beyond their losses would come their way.

Highlighting the alarming increase in fire outbreaks, particularly in the Minna metropolis, the governor emphasized the need for proactive measures. He called on relevant agencies to intensify sensitization campaigns to prevent similar occurrences and minimize risks.

Governor Bago further assured the victims of the state government’s support through its relevant agencies to mitigate the impact of the tragedy.
