Uzbekistan currently tops the global rankings with 48,700 points, followed by Russia in second place with 40,850 points and Kazakhstan in third with 38,300 points. The Democratic Republic of Congo sits in fourth position with 36,825 points, while Australia completes the top five with 33,725 points.

Morocco ranks sixth with 29,600 points, while China occupies ninth position with 19,100 points.

The IBA ranking system operates on a two-year rolling points structure, with boxers and nations earning points based on performances at major competitions such as the Olympic Games, World Championships, Continental Championships, and World Boxing Tour events.

Under the system, points are accumulated over a two-year period and gradually reduced in value as newer results are recorded, ensuring current form is reflected in the standings.

Nigeria’s position reflects its performances in elite sanctioned boxing competitions within the ranking period, including continental and international tournaments.

The rankings are updated after each competition cycle, with athletes and nations rewarded based on placement and consistency across events.
