Nigeria to Extend 2024 Budget Implementation to June 2025

The Federal Government is set to extend the implementation of the 2024 budget until June 30, 2025.

This development was disclosed by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Wednesday during the presentation of the 2025 budget at a joint session of the National Assembly.

Mr. Akpabio revealed that the National Assembly has initiated the process for the budget extension, which will soon be deliberated upon and submitted to President Bola Tinubu for his assent.

Meanwhile, President Tinubu is currently at the National Assembly for the formal presentation of the 2025 budget.
