President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Saturday, January 11, to attend the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The summit, scheduled from January 12 to 18, will gather global leaders to discuss accelerating sustainable development and socioeconomic progress.
With the theme “The Nexus of Next; Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” ADSW 2025 will provide a platform for policymakers, businesses, and civil society leaders to explore pathways for a sustainable economy and a new era of global prosperity.
Now in its 15th year, ADSW has become a key event fostering multi-stakeholder cooperation to address global challenges, creating impactful partnerships and advancing sustainability across the globe.
During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to highlight his administration’s reforms, particularly those related to energy sufficiency, transportation, public health, and economic development.
