Netshidzivhani, a Senior Provincial Inspector attached to the Mutale Traffic Station, was reported missing after he left his home in Hamakhuvha Village on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

His vehicle was later recovered, leading to the arrest of the suspects.

Preliminary reports indicate that Netshidzivhani was strangled to death, although a post-mortem is yet to be conducted.

The Provincial police Commissioner in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has reassured the community that police will not rest until they get to the bottom of this senseless and brutal killing.

The suspects are expected to appear in court soon, and the police have extended their heartfelt condolences to Netshidzivhani’s family, friends, and colleagues.
