Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, has reiterated his country’s dedication to promoting stability in Sudan.
Abdelatty made this statement during a meeting with Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council President, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, in Port Sudan.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized his country’s efforts to bring stability to Sudan and highlighted initiatives to resume activities within the African Union.
Abdelatty also met with his Sudanese counterpart, Ali Yusuf, to discuss bilateral relations, regional, and international issues of mutual interest.
Both nations agreed to enhance cooperation, including the establishment of a political consultation committee and the organization of the second Sudanese-Egyptian Economic Forum in April.
This forum aims to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, following the success of the first session held in Cairo in November.
