According to Omolola Odutola, spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, the police received reports of the kidnapping and immediately launched a search operation.

The divisional police officer led a team of policemen to the scene, and covert operations have been deployed to assist with digital intelligence to ensure the victim’s safe rescue.

The police are working with local security outfits, deployed by the chiefs of Warewa and Maaba, to search the swampy bush area where the victim was taken.

The Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, has been briefed on the situation, and efforts are underway to rescue Mrs. Odumosu unhurt.
