DR Congo Catholic Delegation Meets Rebel Leader as M23 Advances

Representatives of the Catholic Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo met with rebel leader Corneille Nangaa in Goma on Wednesday as M23 forces, backed by Rwanda, continued their advance.

The meeting aimed to push for dialogue and a ceasefire while advocating for the reopening of Goma’s airport and port.
