Nigeria: NNPP Senator Kawu Defects to APC

Kano South Senator Kawu Samaila has officially defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senate President Godswill Akpabio read Kawu’s letter of defection on the Senate floor, after which APC senators welcomed him to their side.
