The new board comprises prominent figures from various geopolitical zones, showcasing a strategic blend of industry experience and regional representation.

Notable appointees include Adedapo Segun and Bello Rabiu from the North West, Yusuf Usman from the North East, and Babs Omotowa, a former Managing Director of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), representing the North Central.

Other members include Austin Avuru as Non-Executive Director for the South-South, David Ige for the South-West, and Henry Obih for the South-East.

Mrs. Lydia Shehu Jafiya, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance, and Aminu Said Ahmed, representing the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, will also serve on the board.

Top government officials present at the ceremony included Minister of Finance Wale Edun, Minister of Information Mohammed Idris, and Minister of State for Petroleum Senator Heineken Lokpobiri.
