The All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy National Chairman (North), Alhaji Ali Bukar Dalori, has taken over as Acting National Chairman following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Ganduje stepped down from his position, citing health reasons, after serving for 22 months.
President Bola Tinubu has directed Dalori to assume office as Acting National Chairman pending the meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) to fill the vacancy created by Ganduje’s exit.
The APC National Working Committee commended Ganduje’s invaluable contributions and distinguished record of service to the party.
A substantive national chairman is expected to emerge during the party’s convention scheduled for December.
