Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress, citing the party’s failure to address Nigeria’s economic woes.
Amaechi stated that Nigeria is in a state of total collapse and urgently needs a complete overhaul.
He accused the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission of working together to hijack upcoming elections.
Amaechi expressed his disappointment with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying he never believed Tinubu was fit to govern the country.
He also criticized the government’s handling of the economy, noting that the naira has fallen drastically against the dollar.
The former minister emphasized the need for a change, stating that it’s not just about changing the ruling party but fixing Nigeria itself.
He announced his involvement in a new movement to take over government and rebuild the country.
