Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Policy Communications, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to concerns over the party’s declining commitment to leadership and accountability.
In a letter dated July 10, 2025, addressed to the PDP Chairman in Adamawa State, Bwala expressed disappointment over the party’s alleged departure from its founding principles.
He stated that he could no longer remain part of the PDP as it no longer reflected the ideals that initially drew him to join the party.
Bwala’s resignation took effect immediately.
Before his current appointment, Bwala served as the spokesman for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign.
