The remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari have departed London for Daura, Katsina State, ahead of a state burial in honor of the late ex-Nigerian leader.
The body was conveyed on a Nigerian Air Force craft on Tuesday morning, accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and other top government officials.
President Bola Tinubu is expected to receive the body in Katsina by Tuesday noon, as the Federal Government has declared Tuesday a public holiday for the state burial of the former Nigerian leader in his hometown of Daura.
