Authorities have confirmed that two members of the Algerian Civil Protection force, a flight instructor from the Civil Protection Aviation School, and a Chilean aviation company manager were among the deceased.

An investigation is expected to begin soon to determine the cause of the crash, with authorities likely grounding similar aircraft types until the investigation is complete.

The crash has highlighted the risks that even experienced personnel face during training missions, and the incident is expected to have wider regional interest due to the international connection through the Chilean victim.
