Chelsea and Senegalese striker, Nicolas Jackson could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer, as head coach Enzo Maresca admitted that “anything can happen” during the ongoing transfer window.

Speaking during a media interaction on Thursday—quotes shared by football journalist Fabrizio Romano—Maresca refused to rule out Jackson’s departure, especially after the Blues reinforced their attacking lineup with two new striker signings.
“During the window, anything can happen. That’s also the case for Nico Jackson. We signed two strikers… let’s see,” the Chelsea manager said, fuelling speculation surrounding the Senegalese forward’s future.

Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, now faces stiff competition for a starting spot, and his place in the squad appears uncertain ahead of the new campaign.
Adding to the club’s concerns, Maresca revealed that defender Levi Colwill has picked up an injury, though the full extent is yet to be determined.

“We had a problem in the last two days with Levi Colwill. We don’t know how long he will be out for. Hopefully not too long. It’s a problem,” he added.
With the Premier League season fast approaching, Chelsea’s preparations are being shaped by potential squad exits and injury setbacks, as Maresca enters his second year at the helm seeking to rebuild and challenge for silverware.
