Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During a statewide broadcast, Mbah defended his decision, citing the need to connect Enugu State to the central government.
He also commended President Bola Tinubu’s policies, noting that the state has benefited significantly under his administration.
The governor’s defection is expected to strengthen the APC’s presence in the South-East region, with several lawmakers, council chairmen, and other officials joining him in the ruling party.
