The Nigerian government has admitted that it is unable to track down terrorists who are using Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite internet to communicate and flaunt their ransom collections on social media.

According to a presidential spokesman, Daniel Bwala, the terrorists are using Starlink and cellular services from neighboring countries, making it tricky for security agencies to trace them.

“We cannot trace it because Starlink is not registered in Nigeria. It’s in the space,” Bwala explained, highlighting the challenges faced by Nigerian authorities in combating terrorism.

The use of Starlink by terrorists has raised concerns about national security and the need for stricter regulations on satellite internet services.

This admission comes after Nigerian troops discovered Boko Haram terrorists using Starlink in Sambisa Forest, sparking widespread reactions and calls for investigations.

The discovery has also raised questions about how the terrorists acquired the Starlink devices and the potential accomplices involved.
