The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has pledged to collaborate with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to promote sports development across the country, with a special focus on grassroots initiatives.

Kenneth Nanim reports that NOA Director-General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, made the remarks while receiving NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau, and his delegation at the agency’s Abuja office.

The NFF team visited NOA to acknowledge the agency’s role in projecting Nigeria’s global image during the recently concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

Both parties agreed on the importance of leveraging sporting events to foster peace and unity among Nigerians, while also creating opportunities for foreign investment and job creation to drive national development.
