Chad’s President, Idriss Déby, on Monday received three Chadian women recently appointed to key international positions.
The officials are Ambassador Mariam Mahamat Nour, Amina Priscille Longoh and Mariam Ali Moussa.

Mariam Mahamat Nour was elected Vice President of the Commission of the Economic Community of Central African States, while Amina Priscille Longoh was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chad to France.
Mariam Ali Moussa was also promoted to serve as Chad’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union.

During the audience, President Déby offered guidance and advice to the appointees ahead of their assumption of duties, urging them to uphold the country’s interests and represent Chad with distinction on the international stage.
