INEC Announces 2027 Election Dates: Presidential Poll on Feb 20, Governorship on March 6

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the timetable for the 2027 general elections.

According to INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, the Presidential and National Assembly elections will hold on February 20, 2027, while the governorship and State Houses of Assembly polls are scheduled for March 6, 2027.
