President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has embarked on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris.

The President was seen off at the Presidential Villa by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila among other before departing for the state.

During the visit, President Tinubu is also scheduled to flag off the 61st edition of the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as Special Guest of Honour.

The Argungu Festival is one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural events. It is traditionally staged along the riverside at the historic Matan Fada and is recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
