President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the Federal Government will continue to support institutions responsible for conducting free, fair and credible elections.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming bye-elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Kano State and Rivers State, the President reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s democratic process.

“I assure you that the Federal Government under my administration will continue to support institutions responsible for delivering free, fair and credible elections,” Tinubu said.

He also commended residents of the affected areas for their active civic participation and engagement in the electoral process.

“To all residents of the FCT, Kano, and Rivers, I commend your civic consciousness. I am confident that these elections will reflect the will of the people and further strengthen our democratic journey as a nation,” he added.

The President’s remarks come as electoral authorities and security agencies finalise preparations for the polls.
