Kidnappers have threatened to kill six members of the Celestial Church of Christ, Jordan Parish, in Uso, Owo, Ondo State, who were abducted last Wednesday.

The kidnappers demand a N10 million ransom, giving the church and victims’ families until 1 pm on Monday to pay.

The church pastor has sold his car and properties to raise the ransom, and the community has pooled resources to help.

The Ondo State Government and security agencies, including the Department of State Services (DSS), have reportedly failed to intervene or take action to secure the victims’ release.

The kidnappers threaten to return and target the church pastor next.

The community appeals for government intervention, citing worsening insecurity in the state.
