The UK is beefing up security in Windsor as President Bola Tinubu visits King Charles III on March 18-19.

Expect airspace restrictions and road closures around Windsor Castle, with Thames Valley Police deploying search teams, armed officers, and CCTV surveillance.

The visit marks a significant diplomatic milestone, being the first state visit by a Nigerian leader to the UK in 37 years.

Road closures and parking restrictions will be in place from March 17, affecting areas like River Street, Datchet Road, and Windsor Road.

Footways and pedestrian crossings will also close periodically to accommodate the ceremonial procession.
