Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has removed six appointees and suspended one, citing efforts to reposition the state for greater efficiency and effective service delivery.
The affected officials include Timothy Golu, Special Adviser on Strategic Communication; Fom Gwottson, Liaison Officer for Jos South; Nanbol Rimvyat and Nannim Langyi, Liaison Officers for Langtang North; Paul Datugum, Liaison Officer for Qua’an Pan; and Nimchat Rims, Liaison Officer for Langtang South.
The suspended official, Johnbull Shekarau, Chairman of the House of Assembly Service Commission, is accused of conduct inconsistent with his office’s standards.
Secretary to the State Government Samuel Jatau directed the affected officials to hand over government properties and wished them success in their future endeavors.
