The Lagos State Government has announced partial road closures across parts of the state ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s visit on Wednesday and Thursday.

The closures are to ensure safety and smooth conduct of the events, including the commissioning of the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge, Tolu Schools Complex, and other key infrastructure projects.

On Wednesday, April 8, traffic will be impacted around the Opebi-Allen, Ikeja, and Ojota corridors between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. during the commissioning of the Opebi-Mende Link Bridge.

On Thursday, April 9, traffic disruptions are expected in Olodi Apapa and Ajegunle between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. due to the commissioning of the Tolu Schools Complex.

Later that day, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., motorists are advised to avoid routes around Victoria Island and the Eko Hotel.

The government has deployed traffic officials to manage vehicular movement and minimize disruptions during the period. Over 500 LASTMA officers will be on ground to ensure smooth traffic flow.
