The Plateau State Government has relaxed the curfew imposed on Jos North Local Government Area, allowing residents to move freely between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
This decision follows relative peace in the area after recent deadly attacks in Angwan Rukuba.
Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang directed security agencies to intensify enforcement to restore stability.
Residents are advised to remain indoors during restricted hours and cooperate with security operatives.
The curfew relaxation comes amid lingering tension in Jos North, where several people, including students and a corps member, were killed in the attacks.
One victim, Abel Joro, a University of Jos student, died after days of fighting for his life.
