According to the schedule, aspirants seeking the party’s presidential ticket will pay ₦100 million for expression of interest and nomination forms, while governorship aspirants will pay ₦50 million. Senate and House of Representatives aspirants are to pay ₦20 million and ₦10 million respectively, while State House of Assembly aspirants will pay ₦6 million.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed January 16, 2027, for the presidential and National Assembly elections, while governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections will hold on February 6, 2027. It also set April 23 to May 30, 2026, as the window for political parties to conduct primaries and resolve related disputes.

In line with the APC timetable, the sale of nomination forms will take place from April 25 to May 2 at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja, with May 4 set as the deadline for submission.

Screening of aspirants is scheduled to begin on May 6 and run through May 13, with presidential aspirants to be screened on May 9. Primary elections for legislative positions will follow, with House of Representatives primaries on May 18, Senate on May 20, and State House of Assembly on May 21.

The party also stated that female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities will receive concessions, paying only for the expression of interest form and 50 per cent of the nomination fee.

Morka reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to conducting credible and transparent primaries, noting that the process is aimed at strengthening internal democracy within the party.
