Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was later confirmed dead at the scene.

Tomisin had celebrated his graduation just a day earlier with family and friends, marking what should have been a joyful milestone. He was described by those who knew him as a passionate and promising footballer who was working towards a professional career and preparing for a scouting opportunity.

His death has sparked shock and grief within the university community and the local football scene, with many taking to social media to mourn the loss.

In a statement, the club confirmed the incident and described the deceased as disciplined, hardworking, and talented, noting that he had begun to make a name for himself in grassroots football.

Football activities in Ogbomoso have reportedly been suspended in his honour, while tributes continue to pour in from friends, teammates, and well-wishers.

As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of his death remains unknown, and officials of the institution said they had yet to receive formal details about the incident.
