NFF Advertises Vacancy for Super Eagles Head Coach Position

Nigeria’s Football Governing Body, The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the Super Eagles Head Coach position to the Public as Vacant.

The Former Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Pesseiro’s contract expired in February 2024 after leading Nigeria to a second-place finish at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The NFF condemned reports circulating that Augustine Eguaoven has been appointed as interim manager of the Super Eagles.

The NFF also announced the vacant position of the Coach of the Under 17 Team, Golden Eaglets after Nduka Ugbade’s Poor Campaign in last year’s 2017 Nations Cup where the team lost in the Quarterfinals to Burkina-Faso.

An Advertisement on the NFF’s website calling for applications stated that the Prospective Super Eagles coach “must have proven experience at the elite level of football. It also added that the applications should be sent via the link https://thenff.com/head-coach-of-the-senior-mens-national-team-super-eagle/ latest 6 pm by March 12th, 2024.
