Nigeria and Napoli Forward, Victor Osimhen has sustained an injury that will sideline him from action for four weeks.

This is a significant blow for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they prepare for crucial World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic Next Month. In response to Osimhen’s absence, Super Eagles Head Coach, Finidi George has called up Enugu Rangers Left Back to replace the African Player of the Year.

Igboke will join the squad for the upcoming matches against South Africa and Benin Republic, providing much-needed reinforcement for the team. The Super Eagles are currently third in Group C with two points from two games in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Their Next Match is against Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo. Two days later, they travel to Cote d’Ivoire to face Benin Republic at the Stade Félix-Houphouët-Boigny.
