FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup: Nigeria Drawn in Group D with Germany, Venezuela, and Korea Republic

Nigeria under 20 Women’s Team, The Falconets have been drawn in Group D of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Nigeria finished as quarter-finalists in the 2022 edition where they will face three-time winners, Germany, Venezuela, and Korea Republic. The tournament will, for the first time, feature 24 teams and will take place from August 31st to September 22nd in four venues across three cities in Colombia.

The defending champions, Spain, are in Group C with three-time winners USA, Paraguay, and North-African country, Morocco.

Two-time champions, Korea Democratic People’s Republic will compete in Group F against Argentina, Costa Rica, and the Netherlands. The host nation, Colombia, will play in Group A alongside Australia, Cameroon, and Mexico.

Group A: Colombia, Australia, Cameroon, Mexico

Group B: France, Canada, Brazil, Fiji

Group C: Spain, USA, Paraguay, Morocco

Group D: Germany, Venezuela, Nigeria, Korea Republic

Group E: Japan, New Zealand, Ghana, Austria

Group F: Korea DPR, Argentina, Costa Rica, The Netherlands
