Guirassy has formally agreed to the terms, and the next steps will follow promptly. This move solidifies Dortmund’s intent and strategy for the upcoming season. The French-born striker had a stellar season in the just concluded 2023/2024 season scoring a total of thirty goals in thirty matches for VFB Stuttgart. His contribution to the team saw them finish second place behind eventual champions, Bayer Leverkusen and above Bayern Munich to qualify for the UEFA Champions League

To finalize the transfer, Borussia Dortmund will activate Guirassy’s release clause, amounting to approximately €17.5 million, payable to Stuttgart. This financial commitment underscores Dortmund’s dedication to bolstering their squad.

The completion of this transfer highlights Dortmund’s proactive approach in the transfer market, ensuring they acquire top talent to compete at the highest levels.
