Saudi Football Club, Al Ahli has made a €65 million bid for Nigeria and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.

This isn’t the first time the Saudi Professional Football League team has pursued the Nigerian international, as they also attempted to sign him last summer. Osimhen has been training separately from his Napoli teammates this summer, fueling speculation that he may leave the club before the transfer window closes. Premier League giants, Chelsea have also shown interest in the striker.

Italian Journalist, Fabrizio Romano tweeted on X (formerly Twitter): “Al Ahli has submitted an initial bid to Napoli for Victor Osimhen, offering a package worth more than €65 million. Napoli is willing to let him go, but no agreement has yet been reached between the Nigerian striker and Al Ahli.

The deal is still far from completion on the player’s side; Osimhen will consider his options and is not open to a loan move.”

Victor Osimhen’s agent, Calenda, also said, “Victor is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets”. “Victor still has so much to do IN EUROPE”. “Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction”. “He made history and when there were major offers (also this year) we always accepted the club’s decisions”. “Victor was elected African footballer of the year, 8th at the Ballon d’Or. There is need for respect and balance”.
