Ethiopian Airlines has launched a new passenger service to Port Sudan, expanding its African network. The inaugural flight from Addis Ababa’s Bole International Airport took off today, marking the airline’s second destination in Sudan, alongside Khartoum.
This new route strengthens regional connectivity and supports economic growth through trade and tourism.
The daily flights will serve business and leisure travelers, enhancing access to Port Sudan, a city known for its beautiful beaches and strategic importance in maritime trade along the Red Sea.
Ethiopian Airlines, with over 139 destinations globally, continues to grow its presence in Africa and pursue its Vision 2035, which aims to position the airline among the top 20 global aviation groups.
