The quarterfinals of the AFINNI Cup took place on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, delivering thrilling matches as the defending champions and other top teams secured their places in the semifinals.

In the day’s opener, reigning champions, Ricca/Odunfa clinched a narrow 1-0 victory over Okesuna/Abitipa, asserting their dominance and moving forward in their title defense.

In a closely contested match, Okepopo/Amuto and Ebute Elefun/Sura ended in a 1-1 draw, with Okepopo/Amuto emerging victorious in the penalty shootout. Meanwhile, Araromi showcased impressive form, defeating Campos/Aguda with a decisive 3-0 win.

In the final game, Anikantanmo/Swamp edged out Last edition finalist, Massey/Carena with a 2-1 victory, securing the last spot in the semifinals. The Semi-Finals match will take place on Wednesday 6th of November 2024 with Ricca/Odunfa facing Anikantanmo/Swamp by 11am.

The second match will be between Okepopo/Amuto versus Araromi by 1pm.

The winner of the semi-final matches will face off on Sunday November 10th 2024 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.
