Botafogo triumphed in the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday, earning the 32nd and final berth in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The highly anticipated tournament is set to take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025.

The group stage draw will be held on Thursday, December 5, at 19:00 CET in Miami. FIFA has yet to confirm the pot allocations or reveal how group winners will be determined.
The tournament will feature 32 teams divided into eight groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, starting with the round of 16, where single-elimination matches will decide the champions.

Brazil leads the way with the most representatives in the competition, including Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, and Palmeiras. South America’s contingent is rounded off by Boca Juniors and River Plate, completing Conmebol’s six places.
Europe remains the most represented continent with 12 clubs, including Champions League heavyweights Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Chelsea.
