South African President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomed his Nigerian counterpart, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Cape Town for the 11th Session of the South Africa-Nigeria Bi-National Commission.

The high-level meeting, held on December 3, 2024, focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two African powerhouses, with discussions spanning trade, security, and regional development.
