Al Hilal Omdurman guaranteed their spot in the quarter-finals with a 1-1 draw against MC Alger. Meanwhile, Young Africans staged a brilliant comeback to defeat TP Mazembe 3-1 in Dar es Salaam. Alioune Faty gave Mazembe an early lead from the penalty spot, but Clement Mzize’s double and Aziz Ki’s second-half goal secured a crucial victory for the Tanzanian champions. Al Hilal leads the group with 10 points, five clear of MC Alger, while Young Africans stay in contention with four points.

FAR Rabat extended their lead in Group B with a 2-0 victory over Maniema Union, thanks to goals from Khalid Aït Ouarkhane and El Amine Zouhzouh. In Casablanca, Raja defeated Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in a heated encounter that saw three players sent off. Benaissa Benamar’s decisive goal revived Raja’s chances. Orlando Pirates took control of Group C with an emphatic 3-0 win over Stade d’Abidjan, courtesy of goals from Relebohile Mofokeng, Patrick Maswanganyi, and Deon Hotto. CR Belouizdad dealt Al Ahly a blow with a late 1-0 victory in Algiers, climbing to second place with six points.

The Pirates lead the group with eight points, while Al Ahly trails in third with seven.

Pyramids secured a dramatic 2-1 win over Esperance in Cairo, drawing level with the Tunisian giants at the top of Group D. Sagrada Esperança edged Djoliba 1-0, staying in contention for a knockout spot. Pyramids and Esperance lead with seven points each, while Sagrada sits close behind with five.
