Mrs. Adebisi Edionseri, fondly known as “Cash Madam,” a respected socialite and accomplished businesswoman, has passed away at the age of 89.
She died on Sunday, January 5, 2025, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, following a brief illness, according to Platform Times. The announcement was made by her family in a statement issued by one of her children, Dr. Adebayo Adebowale. The statement highlighted her profound impact on her family and community, describing her as a beacon of grace, dignity, and unwavering faith.

“With deep gratitude to Allah for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Princess Kadijat Abike Adebisi Edionseri (née Elegbede), who returned to her creator on January 5, 2025, following a brief illness,” the family said.
The statement further acknowledged her immense contributions:
“Her life was a shining example of grace, dignity, and unwavering faith. Princess Edionseri touched countless lives with her wisdom, kindness, and dedication to her family and community. She instilled the values of love, resilience, and faith in Allah, leaving a legacy that will inspire generations to come.

In accordance with Islamic rites, Princess Edionseri will be laid to rest on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 4 p.m. at her residence in the Abeokuta Government Residential Area of Ogun State.
