In a significant development, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has accepted President Bola Tinubu’s invitation to visit Nigeria this year.
The invitation was extended during bilateral talks on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025.
During their meeting, both leaders discussed ways to attract investment into Nigeria, with President Tinubu highlighting the country’s potential for significant returns on investments.
He also emphasized the progress made by his administration’s economic reforms, which have stabilized the economy and encouraged foreign investors to announce billion-dollar investments.
President Tinubu was accompanied to the UAE by key officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; and National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
The President expressed gratitude to Al Nahyan for the warm reception he and his aides received during their visit.
